What is Early Intervention & Why It's So Important

There's an increasing awareness of the significance for healthy child development. Their development encompasses academics, social and emotional intelligence, and financial stability when they become adults. If there is a concern with your child's development it's best to identify and address it sooner rather than later. Families receive evidence-based practices to support their child in reaching developmental goals with BloomChild Developmental Specialists.

This is Early Intervention

  • Support to help infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) with development delays

  • Could include speech therapy and/or physical therapy

  • Shown to improve a child’s learning abilities and increase academic performance

This is Why It's So Important

Early intervention is most effective when it is provided before three years of age because of adaptable brain connections which are the basis for studying, conduct, and wellness. Early intervention can improve a child’s developmental path and improve quality of life for their families, and ultimately enriching the overall community later on. Each family benefits from early intervention by meeting their children’s developmental needs from a young age and setting them up for success for the rest of their lives.

“Loving action replaced dread and motivated me with the knowledge to support my son. He has overcome most of his symptoms and is going to college.” Florida Mom
